The series Walls, 1999 –:
In 1999 I started a series of "wall quilts" or "mural collages" – or at least that is how I see them. It has grown into a number of bigger quilts and smaller framed pictures. Part of them are mainly held in more subtle greys or roman yellow and has antique ornaments and lots of quotations in Danish, Latin and English and part of them are in darker and more graphic fabrics and depicts modern walls with torn posters.

The series Personalities, 1999 –:
A series of long narrow quilted panels that belong together as families. The individual quilts represent different aspects of different types of personalities and are made with simple expressions and techniques.

The Series: Textiles, 2000 –:
After having made “quilt-quilts” for many years I had a strong desire to consider textiles as a tradition and a subject in itself and that resulted in “the Textiles Series” in which I tried to investigate traditional textile patterning as well as very simple quilting.

The series Timetravellers, 2000 –·
The Timetraveller series is about different cultures at different times. At the same time it is an investigation in symbols and decoration of the chosen period and in quilting as the bearer of most of the meaning more or less as you see it in the whole-cloth-quilt tradition. All the quilts in this series have an ornament, a characteristic motif, a figure from a given period and a quilted "sun/clock face" in the corner.

The series Flora Danica 2000 –:
The Flora Danica series is in a way a continuation of the Textile series, in which I try to translate the traditional flower painting and the famous Danish Flora Danica china service into a contemporary Scandinavian interpretation in textiles.

Coiled baskets and embroidered pictures, 1996 –:
In between the quilts and quilted pictures I make mixed media embroidered pictures in which I use my own handmade paper, small scraps of fabric and embroidery. The Baskets are coiled and covered with the same handmade paper and then painted and decorated.
